The systems pay per click (PPC) are basically paying for advertising to your site on other web pages and search engines. It is an advertising model in which the advertiser pays a specific amount of money each time a user clicks on a link (ad) that leads to your website. Most Popular (Google Adwords, Overture, etc..) Represent a good way to increase our visitors quickly, but not everyone has the budget to do so.
Its operation is simple. The ads are displayed on the site, sorted by the amount of money the advertiser pays per click, so that pay the most are listed first. This has its advantages, because the visits we will be greater, but the cost of the campaign also.
Google Adwords
Adwords is probably the system of pay per click best known and used. It is a good way to get traffic to your website. With this Google service can advertise your website in the form appearing in the first pages of search results (sponsored links) for the words that interest you. The ads also appear on web pages related to the content of what they advertise, these pages from the database Adsense program that pays webmasters to display advertisements on their pages.
For Adwords, performance and position you leave your ad depends on the money you're willing to pay and the theme of the web, among other things (there are issues with more advertisers and therefore more expensive). But do not panic, do not invest large sums of money to advertise on Google (the minimum amount is 30 euros per month).
You make the ads as you see fit, shows the keywords for which you want your ad to compete for top spot in the sponsored links on search and sets the maximum amount to pay per click. Of course, this is only a minimal summary about what AdWords is, for a broader reference visit: Blog AdWords Learning Center AdWords.
This system is useful for those sites that start and need to start having visitors soon, to advertise a specific product, to get targeted traffic to your website (highly interested in what you offer), to publicize your business and to exit the first pages of search results for keywords that work when the position has not yet borne fruit.
